El Día de los Muertos is non-religious holiday that celebrates the memory of family and friends who have died. Sugar Skulls are a traditional folk art from Southern Mexico used to celebrate Day of the Dead. Children 10 years and younger must be accompanied by an adult. The event is free, thanks to the Friends of the Menlo Park Library, and it is located in the main library. For more information on this event, visit menlopark.org/library, or phone 650-330-2501.
